Armed Carjacking of FedEx Vehicle Under Investigation 

June 19, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on June 17, 2025, at about 7:48 a.m., a FedEx driver was fueling up at a gas station in Westley when a masked male suspect approached her and carjacked the FedEx vehicle at gunpoint. The driver was physically unharmed and immediately contacted 911.

Approximately ten minutes later, the stolen FedEx van was located about a mile from the scene. Witnesses in the area reported seeing the vehicle being emptied by four unidentified suspects, who were transferring the contents into a smaller white van.

Preliminary information indicates that most of the stolen items were designer bags. The total value of the stolen merchandise has not yet been determined. At this time, none of the suspects have been identified.
