June 22, 2025 - Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on June 20, 2025, at about 10:42 p.m., Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported large fight at a house party in the 5400 block of Jennie Ave in the community of Keyes. While Deputies were responding, updated information was received that one person was stabbed.
As deputies arrived on scene, they encountered several individuals on the street and located two stabbing victims, both women. One of the victims was unresponsive on the ground, while the other was alert and conscious. Deputies began medical care on both victims until EMS personnel arrived on scene within a few minutes.
Despite lifesaving measures performed on scene, the unresponsive victim died at the scene. The other stabbing victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Several other victims were also located with injuries ranging from being punched and kicked, to subjects being hit in the head with objects. Only one person, other than the stabbing victim, was transported to the hospital. All the other victims were treated on scene and refused medical transport.
Deputies located a nearby house in the 5400 block of Jennie Avenue where the party occurred and detained several subjects inside. Detectives interviewed all the subjects who were later released.
Detectives are actively following up on leads and attempting to identify the suspects in the investigation. We know that several subjects who were attending the party but were not involved in the fight recorded the incident on their cell phones. We ask anyone with information or video of the incident to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
