Chowchilla Man Arrested Impersonating an Officer in Madera County Recently, Killed in Deputy-Involved Shooting in San Luis Obispo County
June 23, 2025 - Madera County Sheriff's Office officiala report on June 20th, just before 9:00 A.M. Madera County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a family disturbance on the 22000 block of Avenue 12. Deputies attempted to detain Andrew Biscay, 40, for outstanding warrants related to vandalism and impersonating a peace officer. Biscay resisted arrest but was safely taken into custody after a brief struggle.
A search of his vehicle revealed disturbing items: a self-manufactured firearm, ammunition, fake U.S. Marshal's badge and uniform, a self-made baton, and a flashing amber light. His vehicle also bore markings resembling law enforcement.
Biscay was booked on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges. His bail was set at $70,000.
