June 24, 2025 – Merced County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, at 9:05 a.m., the Merced County Sheriff's Office activated its SWAT team at a residence in the 700 block of Suzanne Drive in Merced to assist in the apprehension of a male suspect with several active arrest warrants stemming from various law enforcement cases and probation violations.

After speaking with the negotiators, the male suspect exited the residence peacefully and was placed under arrest without further incident. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
