June 26, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials offer information on the S.A.F.E. Program (Support & Aid for Everyone - S.A.F.E.).
Did you know that when emergencies hit there is a team that reaches out to provide assistance for those with certain needs? It's the S.A.F.E. Program - Support & Aid for Everyone!
The Mariposa County S.A.F.E. Program reaches out during widespread power outages lasting longer than 36 hours, wildfires, floods and more.
This program is recommended for those who:
- Use electricity for medical equipment.
- Use supplemental oxygen.
- Depend on other for routine transportation needs.
- Need mobility assistance.
- Use specialized transportation equipment.
- Use life-sustaining prescription medications.
- Receive medication by mail.
- Receive meal delivery service.
- Receive meals/groceries by mail.
