June 30, 2025 – Merced County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 11:24 p.m., our Deputies were notified of a shooting that occurred in the area of Keely Avenue, between 22nd Street and 23rd Street in Merced. A 20-year-old male was injured in the shooting and was transported to a local area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
