July 3, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff's Office officials report that boating under the influence is illegal—and dangerous. Madera County Sheriff’s Boat Patrol will be on the water all weekend to ensure everyone gets home safely.

We want you to enjoy the lake, but we won’t tolerate impaired boating. Choose a sober skipper and help keep our waters safe for all.
