July 11, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on July 7, 2025, at 5:15 a.m., Northeast officers responded to Saint Agnes Medical Center for a victim of a stabbing who was listed in critical condition. The victim had been parked in the area of Gettysburg Avenue and First Avenue when a male subject knocked on the window and woke him up. The confrontation escalated into a fight and the suspect pulled out an 8-inch knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.
Detectives were able to identify Joshua White as the suspect who stabbed the victim multiple times.
On July 8, 2025, surveillance led to the arrest of White in Fairmead, CA and he was booked into the Fresno County Jail for PC 664 and 187(a) - attempted murder.
