Two Men Arrested for Human Trafficking of Minors 

July 18, 2025 – Placer County Sheriff’s Office officials report that after a months-long investigation 24-year-old Jonathan Green PCSO trafficking minorsand 25-year-old Renardo Williams were arrested and booked into jail in Placer County on felony charges for Human Trafficking of Minors (CA PC 236.1(c)).

The investigation began the evening of September 30, 2024, when deputies conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Accord traveling westbound on Interstate 80 near Douglas Blvd. at approximately 90 mph.

The driver, identified as Jonathan Green, of Sacramento, was contacted along with two female juveniles. The juveniles were dressed in revealing clothing and were not related to Jonathan Green. The juveniles were 15 years old.

During the investigation, deputies and detectives determined that the juveniles had recently been traveling across jurisdictions and suspected they may have been engaging in prostitution activity. The juveniles were transported to the South Placer Substation and released to their guardians.

Following the incident, detectives from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office conducted an extensive investigation and uncovered further evidence implicating Jonathan Green and a second suspect, Renardo Williams, in the alleged facilitation of the transportation of both juveniles for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

The case remains under active investigation in coordination with allied agencies including the Placer County District Attorney's Office, Solano County Probation, Child Protective Services, and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
