TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control for July 20-26, 2025
July 18, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR132, and SR-140 for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
- One-way traffic control from East Fork Chowchilla River to Harris Road for tree work beginning Thursday, July 24, 2025, through Friday, July 25, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Hirsch Road/Woodland Drive to Wass Road East for tree work beginning Monday, July 21, 2025, through Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Macready Way to Princeton Way for utility work on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 132
- One-way traffic control from Shimer Drive to half a mile east of Shimer Drive for landscape/irrigation work on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
- One-way traffic control from Catheys Valley Park to the passing lane for landscape/irrigation work on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
