July 20, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, July 18th, Kingsburg Police responded to the area of 7th Avenue and Nevada Street in the Kingsburg for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.  Upon arrival, officers located a man suffering from obvious signs of trauma.  He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The Fresno County Sheriff's Office has taken over the investigation and is currently exploring all leads.

The name of the victim is not available for release at this time.
