Traffic Collision Fatality – Claus Rd. and Milnes Rd. 

July 20, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that on Friday night, at approximately 11:00 p.m., officers responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck at Claus Road and Milnes Road. The motorcyclist, a man from Riverbank, sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Claus Road when a pickup truck, traveling southbound, turned left onto Milnes Road and collided with the motorcycle.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

The roadway was closed in both directions for several hours as the Modesto Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit conducted the on-scene investigation.
