July 22, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on July 20, 2025, at about 11:45 a.m., a male suspect entered the Family Dollar store at 5167 East Belmont Avenue. The suspect walked up to the register and slid the clerk a note, made a verbal threat and gestured his hands in a way that made the clerk believe that he was armed with a firearm. The clerk handed the suspect the money from the register and the suspect left the store. The suspect was last seen walking westbound on Belmont Avenue from the Family Dollar store.
