Bridge Fire Incident Information:

Administrative Unit: CAL FIRE is in Unified Command with Mariposa County Fire and Sheriff’s Departments 
County: Mariposa County  
Location: Highway 49 at Harris Road, 10 miles east of Mariposa  
Acres Burned - Containment: 300 Acres - 97% Contained  
Estimated - Containment: 9/12/14  
Evacuations: There are no current evacuations in place.

Residents should remain cautious of fire personnel and equipment working in the area.

Cause: Vehicle 
Cooperating Agencies: CAL FIRE, Mariposa County Fire Department, Mariposa County Sheriff’s Department and CHP.  
Total Fire Personnel: 169  
Total Fire Engines: 10  
Total Fire crews: 4  
Total Dozers: 1  
Conditions: Areas outside the control lines will be closely monitored for any new spot fires. The crews will continue mopping up and looking for hot spots within containment lines. Interior portions of the fire will continue to burn and may produce smoke.Fires in Yosemite National Park and in the Stanislaus National Forest visible from Madera, Mariposa and Merced Counties are not related to the “Bridge Fire”.
