July 23, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce that the Mariposa Senior Center has Senior Famers Market Vouchers from the California Department of Food and Agriculture and Area 12 on Aging. Vouchers are available to those 60+ years who meet income eligibility and have not already received a 2025 SFMNP Check Booklet.

AND vouchers can be used at any Certified Farmers Market!

Vouchers can be picked up at Mariposa Senior Center located at 5246 Spriggs Lane in Mariposa, while supplies last.

The Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is designed to:

  • Provide low-income seniors access to locally grown fruits, vegetables, honey, and herbs.
  • Increase the domestic consumption of agricultural commodities through farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community-supported agricultural programs.
  • Aid in developing new and additional farmers' markets, roadside stands, and community support agricultural programs.
