On Friday, August 1, Mike Hammar and The Professor will bring their acoustic blues duo to Music on the Green. Mike Hammar is an acclaimed contemporary blues musician from the Central Valley with deep roots in the Yosemite region with his indigenous heritage. He will be joined by his longtime band mate, the Professor on harmonica. This show will surely be a highlight of the season.

MOTG TheTresspassers
The Trespassers to perform on Saturday, August 2

On Saturday, August 2, The Trespassers will make their highly anticipated return to Music on the Green. This will be their 21st year together as a band with the same four members and they have played for Music on the Green almost all of those years. The Trespassers formed in Yosemite National Park in 2003 and have played hundreds of shows together since then, garnering a strong following throughout the Sierra Nevada region. Their music combines elements of folk, rock, country, bluegrass, oldtime and gypsy jazz to make a truly unique and original sound. This will be a show not to be missed!

All performances begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Mariposa County Art Park, located at 5013 Hwy 140 in historic downtown Mariposa. Parking is available along 4th and 5th Streets, with accessible pedestrian access via the lower 5th Street parking lot through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.

Tips for the performers are appreciated and encouraged.
