August 5, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that Central officers were patrolling the area of Shaw Avenue and First Street when they stopped to check on an occupied rental box-truck in a parking lot. Officers determined the truck to be stolen out of Southern California.

The driver was found to be a convicted felon and in possession of drugs, brass knuckles and two loaded firearms, one of which was reported stolen. The driver was arrested for auto theft, being a felon in possession of ammunition and firearms, and additional firearm and narcotics related charges.
