August 10, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce upcoming free Resource Family Pre-Approval Training via zoom meeting on August 19 & 20, 2025.
Join us for our Resource Family Pre-Approval Training—a free, 12-hour course offered via Zoom. Whether you’re a foster parent, relative caregiver, or exploring the idea of providing a safe and supportive home through foster, respite, or kinship care, this training is designed to prepare you for the approval process.
Class Dates & Times:
Thursday, August 19th, 2025 | 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Friday, August 20th, 2025 | 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Location: Online via Zoom (link will be emailed upon RSVP)
Training Highlights:
This mandatory 12-hour training offers foundational knowledge for those looking to foster, adopt, or provide kinship care. It fulfills the pre-approval training requirement for becoming a Resource Family.
