Pathetic Honey
We are thrilled to present the long awaited debut of Neil Young’s Broken Arrow Ranch neighbors, Pathetic Honey in a special performance Saturday evening. Born in 1997, Pathetic Honey quickly became the area’s favorite “Ranch House Jamband,” growing a dedicated following, from La Honda to the Bay. They have been playing extensively on the Peninsula and in San Francisco ever since, gathering new fans at every show. The band selects from both acoustic and electric instruments, often blending the two in an irresistable mix of impressively creative songcraft and inventive musical exploration, playing good time rock-n-roll, folk-rock, country (think New Riders of the Purple Sage, or Buffalo Springfield) and other genres. Pathetic Honey’s music reflects the Bay Area music scene of years past; the psychedelic rock and folk rock music of yesterday’s San Francisco echo in the sounds of their unique style and tight vocal harmonies. There’s a warm feeling at a Honey show; come see why we’ve been trying for years to bring them to the Art Park stage. The band’s wonderful CD will be available at the show.
