Students in Mrs. Stillwell's TK/K class and Mrs.Baumann's 1st/2nd grade class at Sierra Foothill Charter School thoroughly enjoyed the opera, W.O.O.S.H. (Web of Opera Super Heroes!) written by Nancy Steele Brokaw and presented on the UC Merced campus last month. SFCS students in transitional kindergarten through second walk through UC Merced's campus.
Students, staff, and chaperones take their seats and get ready for the start of the opera.
After the opera, students enjoyed a picnic and playing at a nearby park. SFCS students in transitional kindergarten through second grade happily took over the park's climibing structure to pose for a group picture.
SFCS thanks Mariposa Youth Impact Project (MyIP) for organizing this wonderful opportunity and delivering tickets to school for our students to attend this wonderful field trip.
