Caltrans to Perform Landscaping Operation Along State Route 99 in Madera Next Week
August 22, 2025 – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the scheduled closures for landscaping operations in 
Madera next week.
The following will occur Tuesday, August 26th and Wednesday, August 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:
o The southbound State Route 99 on-ramp at Cleveland Avenue will be closed to complete operation.
o The #3 lane along southbound State Route 99 at Cleveland Avenue to 4th Street will also be closed.
o Motorists are advised to proceed with caution when in the vicinity of closure and to plan accordingly.
Caltrans Maintenance workers remind you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while travelling in the maintenance area. Please be alert for Road Maintenance Personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
