Have you Seen this Missing Person? 

August 24, 2025 – Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office officials report that they are asking the public’s help in locating 85-year-old Barbara Dee Crosby. She was last seen by staff members at Skyline Place, located at Sylva Lane near Cabezut Rd. in Sonora around 10:00 p.m. last night, and was possibly seen this morning at Skyline between 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Barbara is believed to have left on foot in an unknown direction to walk her dog Poncho, a small tan chihuahua mix (not pictured).

Barbara is described as approximately 5’2”, 130 lbs. with short gray hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a black and red flannel top, jeans and tennis shoes and is considered at risk due to dementia.
