September 3, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that they are cracking down on reckless drivers. 

There were several car meet ups throughout the city this weekend and we appreciate those who remained just meet-ups.

However, there were a few drivers who chose to leave recklessly, and they were stopped for traffic violations.

Friendly reminder: If you are engaging in reckless driving, illegal street racing and/or sideshow activity, INCLUDING Aiding and Abetting, we will impound your vehicle for 30 days.

Fresno is not the place to commit these hazardous crimes. If you are a witness to these behaviors, please make sure you are safely away from the crowd and call 9-1-1.
