Caltrans traffic advisoryTRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for September 7-13, 2025 

September 6, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following traffic controls on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 in Mariposa County. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

  • One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Wass Road East for utility work on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

  • One-way traffic control from the Bear Creek Bridge to Yosemite National Park for utility work beginning Monday, September 8, though Friday, September 12, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
