Skaggs Bridge Park Closes After this Weekend
September 7, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that effective Monday, September 8th, Skaggs Bridge Park will be closed to the public due to the start of construction for a park improvement project. The park was already set to shut down on October 1st for its annual seasonal closure.
The construction project includes several improvements such as improved accessibility, parking lot expansion and the installation of perimeter fencing.
Funding for this project is provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The project is expected to be completed prior to the park’s next seasonal opening of spring 2026.
