September 8, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials invite the community to California's 175^th birthday celebration.

Who is ready for some cake? Help us celebrate California's 175^th birthday on Tuesday, September 9 at the Mariposa Branch. We are celebrating from 5:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. We will have poetry readings about this great state, a birthday cake, a California puzzle to complete, and a banner everyone can contribute to.

All are welcome to this free event!
