September 9, 2025 - Madera County Sheriff's Office officials report that due to an active Hazardous Materials incident on the 51000 block of Road 426 in Oakhurst, an Evacuation Advisory has 
been issued for the following zones:
Residents in these areas are advised to:
- Close all doors and windows
- Bring pets inside
- Stay tuned to official updates
A road closure is also in place along Road 426 for a half-mile in both directions.
