A warrant for Attempted Murder has been issued for Michael “Cosmo” May.

May remains at large as of this morning.

If you see him or have information regarding his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.

September 9, 2025 – Mariposa County Sheriff's Office officials report that law enforcement activity is currently taking place in the area of Colorado Road and Highway 140.

We are actively searching for Michael Cosmo May, who is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.

Last seen on Colorado Road

May be carrying a Hatchet & Chainsaw

Wearing a blue shirt and long black shorts

Do not attempt to make contact with Michael Cosmo May.
