
June 18, 2016 - May 2016 visitors to Yosemite National Park by auto rises 13.6% from May 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 22.4%
The Arch Rock Entrance Station (Mariposa -Highway 140) had a increase of visitors by auto of 15.8% compared to May 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 16.1%
The Big Oak Flat Entrance Station (Groveland - Highway 120) had a increase of visitors by auto of 14.7% compared to May 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 29.3%
The South Entrance (Oakhurst - Highway 41) had a increase of visitors by auto of 9.5% compared to May 2015. Year to date numbers show a increase of visitors by auto of 21.6%
The total recreation visitors to Yosemite National Park for May 2016 was up by 11.9% compared to May 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of recreation visitors of 20.0%
Park Staff Notes for May:
Tamarack Flat campground opened for the season 5/27.
Crane Flat campground opened for Memorial Day weekend 5/27 and closed on 5/30.
