High-Country Health Food and Cafe in Mariposa California

September 11, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office officials report that on September 6, 2025, at about 2:53 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 5400 block of Central Avenue in Ceres following a report of a male fighting with a female. Upon arrival, deputies contacted David Hurtado, 30-year-old Hispanic male, and Jessie Bobadilla, 23-year-old Hispanic male. Both individuals were detained. During the investigation deputies located several firearms, ammunition, and approximately 600 pounds of processed marijuana.

Hurtado was arrested on multiple charges, including terrorist threats, possession of marijuana for sale, and domestic violence. Bobadilla was arrested for accessory. Both were booked at the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
