TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Lane Closures on State Routes 108 and 120
September 12, 2025 – TUOLUMNE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct closures on State Route 108 (SR-108) and State Route 120 (SR-120) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control between Kennedy Meadows and Sonora Pass for drainage work beginning Monday, September 15, through Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control between Pigeon Flat Campground and Kennedy Meadows for drainage work on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
State Route 120
- Long-term, full closure of the vista points on either side of the James E. Roberts Memorial Bridge overlooking Don Pedro Reservoir for construction work through late-September of 2025.
- One-way traffic control between Big Oak Road and a quarter mile west of Big Oak Road for utility work on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, equipment/materials availability, and construction-related issues.
