Homicide Investigation in Modesto 

September 20, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office officials report that on September 10, 2025, at about 3:42 P.M., the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a body found in the 1400 block of Pauline Ave., Modesto.

Once deputies arrived, they located Gilbert Bejaran a 52-year-old Hispanic male, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. This incident was determined to be a homicide.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown. Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are currently investigating this incident and will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
