September 27, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that detectives with Riverbank Police Services have successfully disrupted a large-scale retail theft operation that had been targeting businesses and communities throughout California.
On September 25, 2025, deputies served two search warrants and six arrest warrants at two separate locations in Modesto. The coordinated operation resulted in the recovery of thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise, along with a firearm linked to the illegal activity.
Recovered Property:
Ross Merchandise: $17,020.47
Burlington Merchandise: $10,304.79
Total Stolen Goods Recovered: $27,325.26
A total of six individuals were arrested on multiple charges.
Retail theft will not be tolerated in Stanislaus County. Through these efforts, the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to eliminating retail theft and protecting the safety and well-being of our community.
