September 29, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce that in just a few days, they are once again participating in NASA's International Observe the Moon Night. It will take place on Saturday, October 4 from 7:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.

We have reserved the Courthouse lawn, located at 5088 Bullion Street. Telescopes will be set up on the lawn for moon viewing. If you have your own telescope, feel free to bring it! Or just bring your enthusiasm for the night sky.

This is free to attend, and all ages are welcome. There is no registration required. To learn more, call 209-966-2140.
