15-Year-Old Arrested for Attempted Armed Robbery in Terra Bella 

October 2, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just before 10:15 p.m. on September 30, 2025, TCSO Deputies were called to the Family Foods and Gas Station in the 9500 Block of Road 236 in Terra Bella for an attempted armed robbery.

When they arrived, Deputies learned a 15-year-old boy walked into the store, grabbed an item and gave a note to the cashier demanding money. The suspect gestured toward a satchel with a gun inside. The suspect then threw coins at a clerk before running off.

Deputies quickly found the suspect nearby, where he was detained without incident. A gun was found on the suspect.

The 15-year-old was arrested and booked on charges related to attempted robbery.
