October 8, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that the Southeast District Safety Team was in the area of Butler Avenue and Hazelwood Boulevard when they observed several individuals drinking and loitering in a public setting. Officers made contact with the group and recognized one of the males to be on parole and an active gang member.
Officers conducted a probation check of the residence and observed narcotics, ammunition, and firearms in plain view.
With the assistance of Southwest DST, Central DST, and Northeast BIKE Unit, officers authored and served a residential search warrant. During the search, officers located 10 firearms, narcotics, three ballistic vests, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The suspect is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing all of these. He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on numerous firearms charges.
