October 8, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce new *limited* funding source to help families with children heat their homes. 

We are excited to announce that our Energy Assistance Program has been allotted CWS/ARPA/Prevention funds, a new *limited* funding source for families with children under the age of 18. Warm Kids, Warm Homes provides limited financial assistance to help families with at least one minor child in the household pay for power, propane, wood, or water utilities.

Eligibility Requirements:

The household must include at least one minor child (under 18 years old).

The household must meet the income limits established for this program or participate in certain programs.

Assistance can be provided for one utility bill (power, propane, wood, or water).

A copy of the utility bill must be provided if available.
