TCSO Detectives Investigating Armed Robbery at Porterville Business, Employee Pistol-Whipped 

October 11, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that at around 10:40 a.m. on October 9, 2025, TCSO Deputies were called to the Cosecha Recycling Center in the 1300 Block of East Springville Avenue in Porterville for an armed robbery.

When Deputies arrived, they learned a suspect had walked into the business armed with a gun and demanded money. The suspect then pistol-whipped the employee, causing cuts to the face and teeth to be knocked out. The suspect ran away from the scene before Deputies arrived.
