After Two Days, No Sign of Missing Hunter

October 16, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that deputies and volunteers with our Search and Rescue Unit continue to actively search for a missing Selma man. 65-year-old Ron Dailey never returned from his hunting trip. He left home on the morning of Monday, October 13th and was supposed to be back home that same evening but has not been seen or heard from since. He told family he was going to the Shaver Lake / Courtright Reservoir area of Fresno County. The latest information we have is that when hunting, Ron is known to travel down small roads / dirt paths off of Dinkey Creek Road and McKinley Grove Road.
