October 19, 2025 – Yosemite Fire and Aviation officials announce Yosemite Fire will be burning piles in the Foresta community and woodlots (El Portal, Yosemite Valley, Wawona, and Foresta), as conditions allow.

Smoke is expected to be minimal, but will be visible in the communities and roadways when burning occurs. Please watch for firefighters and equipment working in these areas.
