October 20, 2025 – CAL FIRE Madera-Mariposa-Merced officials report that on Sunday morning Mariposa County Fire and CAL FIRE MMU along with Mariposa County Sheriff's Search and Rescue Team, Mercy Ambulance, Mercy Air, Sky Life, and California Highway Patrol responded to a solo motor vehicle accident on Highway 140.

Three patients were safely extricated and transported to the hospital for care.
