Do you have questions about how to set up an email account, do research on the Internet, use your new cell phone or tablet, download music and e-books, access social media, or anything else tech related? Get the help you need in Mariposa Library’s computer class series.

The free classes, taught by Jerry Wagner, a local computer technician and volunteer computer tutor for the Library, are held every other Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Library meeting room. Working that day? Bring your lunch, and feed your body while you feed your brain.

The topic for the next class on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 will cover computer maintenance and moving data from one device to another. Participants are welcome to bring their fully charged PC laptops to follow along. (No MACS, phones, Ipads or other devices, please.)

There will be a question and answer period at the end of the session. Participants will also be asked to complete a brief evaluation form and make suggestions for future classes based on their needs.

The series is part of the Library’s computer literacy program. Free one-to-one computer tutoring is also available. These and other adult literacy services offered at the Library are made possible, in part, through a California State Library Literacy Services grant.
