A wide-screen interactive TV/whiteboard with an Android operating system, recently purchased through grants from the California State Library and the Mariposa Community Foundation, allows presenters to write in three different colors and line widths, highlight, annotate over anything, take pictures of and save their work, access the Internet, play and create slideshows, and so much more—all with the touch of a finger.
The set is both Mac and PC compatible and can be connected to a laptop, flash drive or SD card. Several people can write on the board at once, encouraging teamwork and actively engaging audience members. The high definition screen also allows the creation of compelling multi-media presentations.
Put some pizazz in your next program. Attend the training on Thursday, July 21 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Library meeting room. (Training is required prior to use of the TV.) Space is limited.
