November 2, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce Food for Fines Program. 

We are once again offering our Food for Fines Program at each library branch in Mariposa County. Patrons can donate cans of food throughout the month of November, and in exchange, we will waive overdue fees. (We will not waive lost book fees).

The items will then be donated to Manna House, which provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need in Mariposa County.

Two cans equal up to $10 in late fees waived.

Four cans equal up to $20 in late fees waived.

Six cans equal up to $30 in late fees waived.
