November 9, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that at approximately 8:46 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, officers responded to a major injury crash on Yosemite Boulevard, west of Santa Cruz Avenue.

Preliminary information indicates a pedestrian in a wheelchair was traveling northbound across Yosemite Boulevard when she was struck by a Toyota Tacoma traveling westbound on Yosemite Boulevard.

Sadly, we were notified that the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries. The Modesto Police Department Traffic Safety Unit has assumed the investigation.
