November 10, 2025 – Oakhurst CHP officials report that on Saturday, Oakhurst Area units responded to a solo vehicle minor injury crash near the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Due to the driver's unsafe speed, they were unable to negotiate the curve in the roadway and crashed.

With the nice fall weather, many are traveling to the Oakhurst area. As a reminder, please watch your speed and drive with caution, especially if you are not familiar with the roadway. Also, be courteous and patient with slower vehicles and never pass when it's unsafe or not allowed to do so.
