Mariposa County Residents Only - Tire Amnesty Days Through December 31, 2025 

November 10, 2025 – Mariposa County Department of Public Works officials announce residents can dispose of up to 9 passenger car tires or passenger truck tires for FREE! No tires from waste tire generating businesses will be accepted. Proof of Mariposa County residency is required.

Mariposa County Landfill & Recycling Center Every Wednesday 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

For Passenger Car or Truck Tires WITHOUT RIMS

Don Pedro Transfer Station During Normal Operating Hours Thursday & Saturday 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.

Sponsored by Mariposa County and the Rural Counties' Environmental Services Joint Powers Authority. Funded by a grant from the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery. Funding for this program is limited. Mariposa County reserves the right to stop accepting tires for free disposal at any time, With or without notice.
