November 12, 2025 - Tuolumne County Solid Waste Division officials announce on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M., Tuolumne County Public Works Department, Solid Waste Division will be holding a FREE drive-thru recycling event in honor of America Recycles Day. The event will be held at the Motherlode Fairgrounds located at 220 Southgate Drive in Sonora. 

This will be a one-stop recycling event where you can recycle mattresses & box springs, tires, e-waste, cardboard, textiles, household hazardous waste, used oil & filters, antifreeze, batteries, etc. Please view the flyer for a list of all items and materials we will be accepting.
