July 11, 2016 - JAMESTOWN, CA – California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) officials are looking for a minimum-security inmate who walked away from the Baseline Conservation Camp, located near the community of Jamestown, in Tuolumne County.
daniel perez baseline conservation camp jamestownInmate Daniel Perez, 34, was last seen in his assigned dorm on Sunday, July 10, 2016, at approximately 10:30 p.m. during a routine security check. Camp staff searched the inmate dormitory area, surrounding buildings and the camp perimeter after he was discovered missing. All local law enforcement agencies and the California Highway Patrol have been notified and are assisting in the search for Perez. Apprehension efforts are continuing.

Inmate Daniel Perez is described as a Hispanic/Other male (medium/light brown complexion), 5’10”, 187 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes. Inmate Perez was committed to CDCR for a twelve year sentence, for 1st Degree Burglary. He was scheduled to be released on November 11, 2019.
