November 15, 2025 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announced wood distribution will resume on Monday, November 17th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
To qualify for this program, individuals must be 60+ and low income, use firewood to heat their homes and have a truck or small trailer. Due to CalFire regulations, firewood cannot be put inside of vehicles.
Individuals who do not have a truck or trailer or are otherwise unable to pick up firewood may designate another person to pick up firewood.
